The Hypercom Optimum T4220 is the second terminal in Hypercom’s T4200 new line of sleek countertop terminals. This model sports an IP connection for ultra fast transactions and a V.34 dial-up modem for backup. It also features an IP diagnostics program that can diagnose connection problems with pinpoint accuracy. All T4200’s series terminals have a footprint that measures only 3.6 inches high by 8.1 inches wide. This helps ensure a clutter free countertop and makes handing the terminal over to the customer easy.
One of the best features of this terminal is its 24MB of internal memory. With this much room for storage, multiple value added applications can run on the terminal concurrently. For example you can run gift cards, electronic benefits transfer, and other custom applications all on the same terminal.
The T4220 has a graphics capable printer that can print out your custom store logo, or even coupons at customer check out. Other features include a fast ARM 9 32-bit processor, white backlit screen for high visibility, internal PIN pad, and optional EMV chip card reader.
