The Hypercom Optimum T4210 is the first terminal in Hypercom’s T4200 new line of sleek countertop terminals. This model sports a V.34 dial-up modem for fast dial-up transactions. The footprint measures only 3.6 inches high by 8.1 inches wide. This means it can fit on the most crowded countertops. It also can be handed over to the customer for easy PIN entry.
One of the best features of this terminal is its 24MB of internal memory. With this much room for storage, multiple value added applications can run on the terminal concurrently. For example, gift cards, electronic benefits transfer, and other custom applications can all be running together on the terminal with plenty of room to spare.
The T4210 has a graphics capable printer that can print out your custom store logo, or even coupons at check out. Other features include an ARM 9 32-bit processor, white backlit screen for high visibility, internal PIN pad, and optional EMV chip card reader.
