The Optimum L4200 is the newest model in a reliable series of POS products from Hypercom. Some of its special features include a recessed 13-key ADA keypad that provides an extra layer of security for customers entering their PINs, a bi-directional magnetic card stripe reader so customers can swipe their cards in any direction, and a monochrome liquid crystal display system that can display advertisements at the point of sale. It also supports DES and Triple DES DUKPT encryption.
The Optimum L4200 is ideal for all types of merchants but especially for busy multi-lane supermarkets and drugstores. This new POS terminal is a low cost alternative that meets all the current security standards and its compact footprint and ergonomic design makes this POS an attractive payment solution.
